One Simple Strategy

Most trading guides bury you in indicators, then leave you staring at a chart with no idea where to enter.

This one does the opposite. It's short on purpose: 18 pages, one strategy, explained until you can actually use it.

What's inside

Reading candlesticks (p. 2–6)

Start with the four data points every candle gives you — open, high, low, close — then four patterns that matter for timing an entry:

Hammer — bullish reversal after a decline; how to spot it by the ¼-range close and the long lower shadow

Shooting Star — the bearish mirror image; rejection of higher prices

Bullish Engulfing — when buyers overwhelm sellers in two candles

Bearish Engulfing — the reverse

Each pattern comes with the why behind it: what the buyers and sellers were actually doing to create that shape. There's also a useful detail most guides skip — why a Hammer is usually a Bullish Engulfing pattern on the lower timeframe.

The vocabulary (p. 8)

CHOCH, BOS, retest, entry, target, stoploss, risk/reward ratio. Defined in plain language, one page, so the rest of the book reads without friction.

The strategy — Short setups (p. 9–12)

Identify the structure. Wait for price to break the support level of an uptrend. That break is your Change of Character. Enter on the retest, stop above the structure, target below. Four annotated real charts show the setup playing out.

The strategy — Long setups (p. 13–16)

Same logic, opposite direction: downtrend, resistance break, CHOCH, buy on the retest, stop beyond the structure. Four more real chart examples.

Final words (p. 17)

An honest note on expectations — that trading is a skill you build over time, not a shortcut.

Who this is for

Traders who know a few patterns but keep entering at the wrong moment

Anyone who wants one repeatable setup instead of ten half-learned ones

Works on forex, crypto, indices — the structure logic isn't market-specific
